Font:

Selecting how the font size is measured can effect accessibility, and versatility for different devies. Options include pixels, %, points, mm, cm and ems.

There are not many font typeface options because not many have been standardised across different software. Verdana is the ideal font as it was designed specifically for use on screen.

Fonts are grouped because you are suggesting the typeface. But you cannot guarantee the viewer will see the font in the same way. If they have the first typeface in the group, then they will see it in the second in the list. If they don't have the first or second, they will see it in the third. To use unusual typefaces, you may well have to use images of the font or flash. But using a photo means that it won't be found as text in a searh engine.

You can make up your own groups of fonts, but beware that they are all a similar size and type, so that you don't effect the design layout, and that you include at least one very common one.
