Evaluation

The criteria I have been given:

I would like a website that is easy to access through search engines and promotes me as an artist working in the medium of print. This website will need to show my art work to a wider range of people with the hope of selling my art work on line, to include my sketch books and button jewellery. I would also like to include the words pennlym in my web address as this refers to my studio where I work on my prints.

• I want to make the website as clear and easy to use as possible.
• Give the site a clear identity.
• Show the artwork to the best possible standard without changing the appearance eg colour tone.
• The pages I am going to use are:
  • Index
  • About me
  • Galleries for all the different items
  • Exhibitions
  • Contact me
    

I believe I have matched the criteria that I was given.
The one thing I would change is some of the photos of the artwork in the gallery, as they were already framed when photograph this made for a less clear picture. In the future I would photograph the work before framing. I am overall pleased with the end result of this website.

• I will be looking to add a guest book so the viewers are able to leave comments about the work.
• Re-take some of the photos that I am not happy with.
• Get a google rating.          
• Get links on other artist websites.
