About Me

Well, I'm Steve, christened Stephen but like everything

This is me in the garden with myself
these days I got shortened and abbreviated and everyone calls me Steve, apart from my mother. I'm also known as Daddy or Daaaaadd as my young son screams it sometimes, my youngest son at present just wails at me but he is only twelve weeks old.

I live in Hampshire, Southern England close to the coast and the New Forest and the new South Downs National Park so my photography is well catered for having such an amazing landscape on my doorstep.

Aswell as my local area I love to go to the Cotswolds and North Devon, two great places for taking pictures. In the past I liked travelling America, having been to Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. Will one day hopefully see more of Europe, only been to France, Belgium, Holland and the Isle of Wight.

So I like to visit different places and photography. I also like history, heritage and conversation, I support the Wildlife Trust and the Campaign to Protect Rural England.

Musically I like lots, Indie, Britpop, Rock, Pop to Classical, in time I will dedicate some more space on this site to share more with you.

I almost forgot to mention Art, I studied Art and Art History, when I was a student I got to go on lots of trips to London to the Royal Acadamy, Tate Galleries etc and I now know all the best pubs around these places.

Sport, I used to attempt to play Football, Rugby and Tennis, I did represent my school at Rugby but these days I just do not have the time to be that active, I do go swimming with my eldest son once a week, i would like to think as he can swim on his own unaided under the age of three that he could be a future olympian. I used to watch and support Southampton FC (The Saints) but have lost so much interest in football, I dislike what the game has become in the last ten or so years. Muched prefered watching Saints at the Dell in the early 1990's when Le Tissier did his magic, maybe I was more of a Le Tissier fan. Tennis, love Tennis I goto wimbledon every year and will have photos to share with you.
