How did Felix become our Pet?

 

Felix was born about June 2005 unfortunately the date is estimated as we rescued her and the date was given by a local vet. Felix was rescued from a bus terminal in Bodrum Turkey, to give you some idea this is where all the coaches that have travelled from all round Turkey terminate in Bodrum, which makes this terminal a bit like London Heathrow at times. For a small animal this is like going in to a field full of cows except these ones have giant wheels.

 

We found Felix in a office that was owned by a bus company called Pamukkale while waiting for a coach to take us to Izmir to collect our belongings(thats another story), she was curled up on one of the seats sleeping, of course we made a fuss of her and gave a little food. Unfornunately we could not take Felix with us at that time as animals were not permitted on the coach but we made a promise to collect her on our return.

 

Anyway cutting a long story short we made several attempts to collect her but were unsuccessful as we could not find her anywhere on the 2nd attempt we asked the office if they had seen her, this is when they told us she usually appears about 03:00 in the morning... The things I do for a cat we turned up one night at 03:00 and found her so we picked her up and took her back to our house in Yashi.

 

This is how Felix came to live with us, the above is broken down a bit otherwise it would turn in to a novel.
