Pre-Production
After the incompletion of El Diablo II. I got the idea of making a Slasher, after watching Friday the 13th.I told Lewis my idea of the seriel killer who chops people up into pieces and sells them to McDonalds.Lewis liked the idea so I started writing a screenplay, this was about Easter 2007.
The finished film was muched more diffrent than the screenplay, and it had to be split up into three parts. Hence Part I. I decided to cast Chris Shephard as the lead, named Frank. Corbyn Lewis as the drug dealer Mike. Lewis as the drug addict, he's good at those roles. And myself as the dodgy guy. I didn't want cast George Bark in any roles, because of past diffcalties. But I in the end cast him in a couple of small roles.
Lewis had manage to buy a sythasiser, so we dicided he would personaly create the musical score for the film. Which would be the first time we had own made music in a film. Before hand it was just stock music.
Production

The first scene we shot was the Argument scene. As seen below.
When filming this scene. Corbyn got the idea that Lewis should pretend to be masturbating under the T-shirt. The idea was to make the audience think Lewis was being dirty, but reallyhe just has a syringe in his arm. But this was never really seen in the final cut. Although i'm sure in one of the shots as Chris walks in you can Lewis doing this.
Also in this scene, Lewis wasn't in it for half of the shoot. So you can see one or two shots where you only see Chris. I sat where Lewis was and Chris pretended I was Lewis, we just kept me out of the shot.
In the final chase scene. When filmed it somewhere in Febuary 2008. It kept getting dark quickly. We shot it over two days, so it gets dark then light again. So thats why wehad the sun chasing the cloud, to create a plot device to explain why it gets dark and then light again.
When we created the axe effects, we simply did a Tom Savini trick where you cut piece out of the axe and place on the subject to make it appear the axe is stuck in. We also put a syringe full of fake blood and squirted blood though the axe and onto my arm. The first time we did this, it was really to dark to seethe blood come out. But you can see it if you look closely.
