'Margarine Rock' Music Video
For the next project we had to do create a music video based on a given song, to prepare for this we were given a song and had the day to make a video. Most of it was made up as we were filming, this included the tub of butter, which at the time we thought was a tub of margarine, hence why we put margarine on the top and made the video about it. With that in mind we thought we can make it funny by having someone being scared by the tub of 'margarine' and actually running away from it.
Using a mixture of camera zooms and stop-motion animation, we gave the impression that the tub was alive. Filming was going well and we shot in chronological order, however for the person being scared by the tub of 'margarine' that honour went to me after losing a game of rock, paper, scissors, there was a 'showdown' planned for me and the tub which ended quickly after I threw the tub into a tree, which led to filmig having to wrap early.
When it came to editing only myself and Dave managed to do an edit of the video, but Dave's 'superior' cut was in fact as it says superior to mine. So here is his my cut of the music video.
