Belmarsh

In a group of three we wrote a scene for the soap one of us had written 'Belmarsh' a prison drama. We shot one of the scenes from the first episode. In the scene we made we have our main character Trevor, a teenaged boy from a broken home. His parents are both addicted to alcohol so aren't around enough to be parents to Trevor and his younger sister Chantelle. Trevor spends most of his time concerned about Chantelle.

In the opening scene of the first episode Trevor and Chantelle are arguing about Chantelle going to a party that Trevor knows is not a good idea because of the sort of people that will be there. Chantelle still goes to the party despite Trevor warning her to avoid the sort of people that will be there. Chantelle returns home the day after the part hysterical and barley able to speak eventually Trevor manages to find out what is wrong with her.The night of the party Chantelle started to drink but nowhere near enough to feel the affects of alcohol. Whilst Chantelle was drinking Geoff (one of the sort of people Trevor warned Chantelle about) slipped something in her drink and raped her. Trevor and Chantelle tried to get justice from the police but the police didn't believe Chantelle didn't give her consent to Geoff.

Trevor, outraged at the fact that Geoff would get away with raping his little sister, takes the law in to his own hands and goes after Geoff. Trevor catches up with Geoff and the two start to fight. Geoff starts to antagonise Trevor that leads Trevor to effectively snap. Trevor loses control and starts to get the better of Geoff and starts to punch with all of his strength.
