Second Group Task

As a group we have designed the opening scene of a crime film.Our two main characters Paddy an old top rate police officer now stuck behind a desk day in day out due to the lack of respect from fellow police officers because of Mike (his son) a young jobless druggie criminal always depending on his dad to bail him out of every single little thing he gets himself into. Because of Mike's criminal antics all the time the police department Paddy belongs to doesn't have time for Paddy claiming that if you can't raise your son how do you expect to keep the local criminals under control. Paddy eventually finds mike's criminal ways too much to handle and decides to cut him off. Mike not knowing that his father has had enough turns up at paddy's office to ask for some more money.

The second scene starts off with mike walking into paddy's office with paddy doing his paper work whilst drinking his whiskey (due to him being depressed). Mike walks in much to paddy's despair then sits down and proceeds to pester paddy for some money to help him out but he continues to say no. This annoys mike whilst they are talking their tempers begin to rise and eventually paddy loses his temper at mike. Paddy tells Mike he no longer considers him his son and he will no longer acknowledge his existence. In response to Paddy's words Mike knocks the papers to the floor and storms out.

Mike returns home and drinks whilst he is drinking he gets a phone call from an unknown gangster arranging to meet up so mike can give him the money he owes him (the money paddy didn't give him) later mike is drunk and two armed hooded gangsters stand up behind he turns round they knock him to the floor then mike starts to black out the hooded gangsters drag him off to the car.
